The City of Modesto's Code Enforcement & Neighborhood Preservation Unit is a valuable source of help when you have problems in your neighborhood such as graffiti, overgrown weeds, noise concerns, waste or garbage in the streets, vacant properties / squatters, parking problems, home business complaints, etc. You can contact them by phone or file an online report. Their officers will address your complaint and issue citations if city ordinances are being violated.
